Jimmy Buffett continues to add wind to tour sails
Jemmy Buffett [ tickets ] has added just about fresh dates to his imminent "Twelvemonth of Still Here" hitch, extending the trek into fall with a geminate of October shows.The ex-serviceman singer/songwriter tacked the geminate of warm-weather concerts--both in California--onto the very remnant of his current trek, which gets underway April 21 in Woodlands, TX. Totally dates are below for the 21-city enlistment.As previously reported, he'll also be a star at this August's Newport Folk Festival in Newport, RI.Buffett continues to support his latest studio exploit, 2006's country-leaning "Deal the Endure With You," which became his second consecutive No. 1 debut on Billboard's Meridian Commonwealth Albums graph.The performing artist too released a geminate of live recordings last year: November's "Live in Genus Anguilla," which captures deuce recent shows on the Caribbean Sea island, and April's "Live at TX Bowl," which revisits Buffett's 2004 Dallas concert with Alan Jackson and George V Pass. The trio's cover of Hank Williams' "Hey Good Lookin'" from the latter set netted Buffett his moment life history Rural area Music Awards nomination in the Event of the Year category.The loss leader of the Parrotheads continues to delay busy with several other endeavors, including a new restaurant under building in Waikiki, HI; a raid into the casino business organisation in Biloxi, MS; and a newly book, "Swine Non?," which is due in May.
